Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Shift Mechanic, Equipment Technician), you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair. This includes working with production equipment such as injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. You'll also troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment, propose solutions to complex and reoccurring problems, and work directly with machine operators, supervisors, and other team members.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar maintenance environment or position, including managing people/projects. Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools.
  • High School Diploma required, Associate’s Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization preferred.
