Role

As a Welder (also known as Welding Technician, Fabrication Welder), you'll weld pre-cut or fabricated components to assemble standardized and custom weldments. You'll work from samples, prints, sketches, and other instructions, assist in layout and construction of weld fixtures, and ensure workmanship complies with quality standards. You'll also assist other welding personnel on projects, problem-solve issues with machines and equipment, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong math and communication skills.
  • Ability to read a drawing and production process documentation accurately, fluently read a tape measure, and provide own welding helmet.
