Field Service Technician - Broward County

Role

As a Field Service Technician (also known as Field Operations Technician, Field Maintenance Technician), you will be a crucial part of our dynamic Field Operations team. You will conduct customer service visits, handle day-to-day repairs, and perform preventative maintenance for various transit agencies and clients. You will also identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, collaborating with manufacturers or field personnel as necessary to procure replacement parts.

Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent required; AS degree and A+ certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years technical experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electronic operations and make sound technical decisions.
  • Experience with automotive wiring – DC, low voltage, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Expertise with electrical systems, use of voltmeter and other tools.
