CNC Setup Machinist

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), you'll specialize in either Milling or Turning, floating between various CNC machines based on your specialization. You'll perform complex machine operations including setup and programming to meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements. You'll also read and edit G&M code and perform first piece and in-process quality inspections.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of CNC experience preferred, but willing to train suitable candidates with less experience.
  • Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, and M-Code.
