Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic), you will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You'll work both independently and with a team to ensure safe and timely repairs, maintain industrial control systems, and may occasionally fill in for production operators. You'll also be responsible for documenting repairs and maintaining safe work practices.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar maintenance environment or position, with experience managing people/projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools.
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.
  • High School Diploma with trade school credits. An Associate’s Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization is preferred.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries is a plus.
