Boiler Controls Technician

Role

As a Field Services Control Technician (also known as Boiler Technician, Control Systems Technician), you'll be responsible for wiring, firing, and testing boilers both in-shop and on-field. This role involves ensuring the readiness of customer equipment, rebuilding control valves and regulators, building and testing control panels, fuel skids, condensate tanks, and deaerators. You'll also perform start-ups of rental boilers in the field and assist other departments as required.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum six (6) years of boiler experience required working with PLC’s, transformers, transmitters and other boiler controls.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
  • Broad knowledge of boiler controls and mechanical and electrical background.
  • Ability to troubleshoot boilers and auxiliary equipment and retrofit control systems in the field.
