Maintenance Mechanic

Role

As a Mechanic I (also known as Maintenance Technician, Equipment Repair Specialist), you'll perform corrective maintenance to ensure the facility and equipment are operating properly. You'll replace and repair parts, rebuild equipment, align gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts, and perform preventive maintenance activities. You'll also respond to maintenance work orders and requests on the production floor in a timely manner.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of technical training and/or job-related experience.
  • Proficiency in English including reading, writing, and following directions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience and proficiency in PLC, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and machine safety inspections.
