CNC Machinist

Role

As a Machinist (also known as Machine Operator, Tool Operator), your key responsibilities will include reading blueprints and job orders for product specifications, measuring and marking dimensions on workpieces, verifying dimensions of finished workpieces, selecting and aligning cutting tools and materials on the machine, and performing daily maintenance to equipment and tools. You'll also be responsible for first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure conformance to specifications, and implementing continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months experience as a machinist in a small device manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality plans, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, machine setups for production runs, and manual machining skills.
