Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer (also known as CNC Programmer, Industrial Engineer), you will report to the Operational Excellence Manager and support production employees with daily requests. You will also contribute to manufacturing engineering projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your primary responsibility will be to support assemblers and machine operators with live/open orders. Secondary responsibilities include machine and tooling design/procurement, manufacturing engineering, process improvement, plant automation, manufacturing cost estimates, and EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) needs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical).
  • Two to five years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or CNC Programmer.
  • Knowledge of metal cutting and forming processes and CNC control.
  • Familiarity with SQC methods and concepts.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and lean manufacturing.
  • Experience with machine design and machine control systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of G-Code and CNC Macro-programming.
  • Fanuc robot, industrial robot or cobot programming experience a bonus.
  • PLC programming experience.
