Role

As a Toolroom Machinist (also known as Manual Machinist, Machine Shop Technician), you'll work from part drawings to produce quality, finished products using a variety of manual machine tools. You'll set up and operate conventional machine shop equipment, produce fixturing to aid in the production of machined parts, perform routine quality checks, and maintain cleanliness of the work area.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical School Certificate/Diploma or Skilled Trades Apprenticeship preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in manual machining.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, measuring and gauging instruments, heat treating, weld testing, and drawing interpretation.
