Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll ensure equipment uptime through in-depth troubleshooting and repair. You'll work on a variety of production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. You'll also troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, and other water filtration equipment. You'll collaborate with machine Operators, Supervisors, and other Maintenance Technicians to resolve mechanical issues during shifts.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required, Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar maintenance environment, with experience managing people/projects.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries is a plus.
  • Experience with variable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motor, rotary equipment, thermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing is beneficial.
