Role

As an Automation Maintenance Technician (also known as Manufacturing Support Technician, Automation Support Specialist), you'll be responsible for the technical support and maintenance of automated and semi-automated manufacturing solutions. Your duties will include ensuring all machinery and facilities are functioning properly, performing maintenance on all manufacturing and facility equipment, participating in the maintenance of the preventative maintenance program, troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical problems on equipment, and recommending and leading improvements to upgrade equipment and processes.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in Automation in a manufacturing environment, responsible for sophisticated manufacturing and automation equipment.
  • Detailed knowledge in PLC programming and electrical controls, mechanical and design areas of automation with general machining capabilities, and familiarity with hydraulic and Electrical/Electronic components of manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficiency in Electrical Schematics and Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
