Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist, Machine Repair Technician), you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in manufacturing machines. You will also provide technical support to all areas of the facility, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC, electrical controls, AC/DC drive motors, and machine operation.
  • Experience with machinery drawings, electrical schematics, and machine manuals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, complete preventative machine maintenance, and fabricate components as needed.
  • Strong mechanical skills, basic computer skills, and good verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with PLCs, Ladder logic, hydraulics, motors, and pumps.
  • Fabrication experience and knowledge of cold heading preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift approximately 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform detailed work.
