Role

As a Tool Mechanic (also known as Equipment Technician, Tool Maintenance Specialist), you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of various tools and machinery used in manufacturing processes. Your duties will include conducting routine inspections of tools and equipment, performing repairs and maintenance tasks, testing repaired tools, maintaining accurate records of all activities, and ensuring all tools meet safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in mechanical systems and knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in the industry.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inspections and repairs.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Clear communication skills to interact with colleagues and provide training when necessary.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or a relevant mechanical field is often preferred.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, and Blueprint Reading.
