Role

As a Field Service Technician (also known as Industrial Automation Technician, Electrical Technician), you'll maintain and optimize performance of industrial automation equipment, offer technical support to customers, and manage communication channels to ensure smooth operations. You'll also utilize your expertise in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and Electrical Schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/repair skills; understanding of mechanical systems, piping, plumbing and valve operation preferred.
  • Electrical experience required, troubleshooting & repair skills necessary.
  • Prior experience as an electrician in 3phase systems, UPS (back-up power) systems, maintenance, electrical generation and distribution systems, power electronics, Automatic Transfer Switch Systems, and microprocessor-based control platforms is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with various test and measurement equipment, electrical codes and personnel safety products and procedures.
  • Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting Skills, Electrical Schematics, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, and PLC Programming Experience.
