Role

As a Controls Engineer (also known as Automation Engineer, Electrical Controls Engineer), you'll be tasked with optimizing assembly lines and test equipment, troubleshooting as needed, and updating electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings. You'll also maintain PLC & HMI programs to enhance plant productivity. The role involves ensuring the plant operates efficiently while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in EE, ECE or Computer Science or equivalent skills, training and experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, IO Configuration, SCADA/HMI programming and Ethernet network protocols.
  • 3+ years of experience in PLC/HMI programming, vision system support, and robot automation.
  • Experience with Mitsubishi PLC program (GX-Works or GX-Developer) and Proface HMI program (GP Pro-EX).
  • Basic experience in AutoCAD and ability to program various types of HMI platforms.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle physical demands such as prolonged periods of sitting, frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
