Mechanical Design Engineer

Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer (also known as Equipment Design Engineer, Mechanical Development Engineer), you'll be responsible for executing equipment design, conducting feasibility studies, preparing specifications, and creating technical documentation. You'll develop mechanical solutions for various types of equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and project specifications. You'll also review and interpret mechanical specifications, develop concept sketches, and create detailed drawings and bill of materials (BOM).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Design capability using Inventor 3D and/or Solidworks 3D, and AutoCAD 2D. Experience with NX 3D is preferred.
  • Experience with powertrain assembly system design, special machine design, or in-process/End of line test systems.
