Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic (also known as Equipment Repair Technician, Machinery Maintenance Specialist), you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems in a food processing environment. You'll use your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and fix issues, ensuring optimal performance of machines and minimizing downtime.

- Experience in visually inspecting machinery/equipment for defects and repairing production or processing equipment.
- Specialized in troubleshooting and repair of modern automated equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems and implement proper remedies while adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Experience in maintaining operations of systems such as pneumatic, hydraulic, ammonia, etc. and installing and repairing electrical apparatus.
- Proficiency in Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, Electrical Troubleshooting Skills, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, Hydraulics Experience, Experience in a Manufacturing Environment, Machine Safety Inspections, PLC Troubleshooting Skills, HVAC.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Allen Bradley, Siemens), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Servo Motors.
- Ability to work in a cold storage environment, withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance.
- Military experience welcomed.
