Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Technician, Preventative Maintenance Technician), you'll perform entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks. This includes adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing or replacing defective parts, and operating simple machining operations. You'll also be responsible for identifying needed parts and supplies, updating records, and performing basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus or 18 months of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems and ability to perform repairs.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
