CNC Machinist

Role

As a Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, Manual Machinist), you will perform simple set-ups and operate manual/CNC equipment to manufacture medical components. Your role will focus on safety, cleanliness, and organization, working closely with team members in operations, materials, and receiving to ensure quality and compliance measures are met. You will also be responsible for accurate documentation in line with quality, compliance, and operating procedures.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational certifications preferred but not required.
  • 6 months of machining experience and/or completion of a trade school machine shop program.
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, indicators, and SPC equipment) and knowledge of tool identification.
  • Proficiency in Machine Setups for Production Runs, Troubleshooting CNC Machines, and Blueprint Reading.
  • Experience with CNC Swiss Lathe (Citizen, Star), CNC Lathe (5+ axis) (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Okuma, Doosan, Bridgeport, Mazak, Haas), and CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC) (Mitsubishi, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki).
