Path Engineering

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator (also known as a Metal Worker, Sheet Metal Worker), you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment. This includes operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal, shaping metal, operating welding equipment to join sheet metal parts, and inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.

• High school diploma or GED required. Trade or Technical School Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• A minimum of four (4) years experience in welding.
• Good mechanical skills and basic math skills.
• Ability to read assembly prints and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for the majority of the work day.
