Engineering Technician

Role

As a Shop Technician (also known as CNC Machinist, Tool and Die Maker, Welder, Composite Fabricator), you'll be hands-on involved in engineering projects within a diverse and team-oriented environment. You'll operate CNC machinery to fabricate complex prototype parts, perform machine maintenance, assist in complex assemblies, support engineering tests, and perform first article inspections. You'll also have the opportunity to work in several different fields including composite fabrication, electrical systems, wood working, 3D printing, welding, and engineering testing.

Qualifications
  • Associates degree in a technical field, Skilled Trade/Technical Certification, or 5 years experience in a related industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in one of the following: CNC Machining, Tool and Die Making, Welding, Composite Fabrication, or Aerospace mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read & understand blueprints and technical documents, basic computer knowledge, and exceptional communication skills.
