Fabrication Manager

Role

As a Fabrication Manager (also known as Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager), you'll oversee all shop floor activities related to production and quality control. You'll ensure delivery schedules are met, control labor costs, and monitor daily production output. Your role will also involve maintaining production equipment, managing employee discipline, and overseeing day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with Customer Service and Warehouse departments to maintain high customer service levels and on-time delivery. You'll also lead continuous improvement projects and manage resources and consumables.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • 4-year degree in a related field or 2-year degree with equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in PC use at an intermediate level.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles, Budgeting/Forecasting, Scheduling, High-level Operations Analysis, and Welding Setups for Production.
