Maintenance Technician II

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Maintenance Engineer), your main responsibilities will include performing mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This involves observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of a problem, dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts, and repairing or replacing these parts. You'll also be tasked with testing the device's performance, and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems. You may also be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, and ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
