Maintenance Technician II

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Machine Maintenance Technician), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of problems, dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, repairing and/or replacing defective parts, and testing devices to observe performance. You may also be required to set up and operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks. In addition, you'll be responsible for complying with 5S and housekeeping standards, driving and participating in CI activities, updating records and reviewing CMMS history, troubleshooting and analyzing control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems, and utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, and ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
