Senior VFD Technician - $1000 Sign On

Role

As a Senior VFD Technician (also known as Variable Frequency Drives Technician), you'll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of VFD units. You'll respond to equipment breakdowns, conduct on-site repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and advise on equipment upgrades. This role also involves maintaining good relationships with customers, prioritizing safety, and working efficiently with a team.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience with multiple manufacturers of Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Strong working knowledge of three-phase motors and control circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as electrical and mechanical drawings, safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
  • Experience with heating and cooling systems installation and troubleshooting.
  • OSHA 30 and SST certifications.
  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 MA & 0-10 Vdc devices.
