Quality Engineer

Role

As a Quality Engineer (also known as Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Control Engineer), you'll drive continuous improvement activities in a custom injection molding environment. Your key duties will include quality and technical support, metrology, mentoring and training of quality assurance employees, conducting and updating risk analysis documentation, performing data collection, and addressing supplier quality issues. You'll also be responsible for the Quality Management System, leading Kaizen events, conducting audits, applying Six Sigma principles, and participating in failure mode effect analysis.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and dimensional analysis.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and quality control data analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. graphs, charts, formulas).
