Role

As a CNC Swiss Set Up Machinist (also known as CNC Swiss Turning Center Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers. You'll work closely with quality assurance to produce components to print tolerance, download CNC programs, complete setups, and be involved in change-overs and set-ups on a regular basis. You'll also maintain the cleanliness, condition, and safety of your work area and equipment.

Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the basic machine functions of CNC Swiss Turning Centers and proficiency in production setups.
  • Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings and routings, and use basic and precision measuring instruments.
  • Comfortable working with lubricants, cutting fluids, and coolants, and able to lift, bend, and use handheld equipment.
