CNC Machinist

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as Computer Numerical Control Operator, CNC Machine Operator), you'll operate and program machine tools like lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision metal parts. You'll be responsible for the setup, production, and inspection of all machining assigned, and you'll select appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials for use on machines. You'll also examine and measure completed units and parts to ensure they conform to specifications and adjust machine controls to resolve production errors.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational/technical school training and apprenticeship in Machining Technology or CNC Machining trade school preferred.
  • Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
  • Excellent mechanical, organizational, and time management skills.
