Facilities Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Specialist, Facilities Specialist), you'll be responsible for routine cleaning of facilities and grounds, moving furniture and fixtures, conducting periodic facility inspections, managing maintenance requests, purchasing supplies, and performing minor electrical equipment repairs. You'll also operate various motor equipment and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of basic maintenance experience such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to drive corporate vehicles and a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge and use of handheld tools.
  • Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally.
  • Knowledge and practice of working in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work with various contractors and supervise if needed.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/ English) is a plus.
