CNC Programmer

Role

As a CNC Programmer (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Operator), you'll be responsible for translating part designs and drawings into CNC programs, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring quality production runs. You'll also design and implement tooling and fixturing solutions, conduct test runs, troubleshoot program or machine issues, and continuously improve machining processes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC programmer, with 10+ years of experience in machining roles with significant setup experience.
  • Technical degree or apprenticeship/journeyman certificates are a plus.
  • Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) and Fanuc controls.
  • Proficiency in GD&T, G-Code, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, CAD/CAM Software, Blueprint Reading, Process Development, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, and Equipment Troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathe (2-4 axis).
