Role

As a Lead Assembler (also known as Assembly Supervisor, Production Lead), you'll oversee and coordinate the assembly process in a manufacturing setting. You'll supervise a team of assemblers, ensure production targets are met, maintain quality standards, and assist in training new assemblers. You'll also troubleshoot assembly issues, implement process improvements, and collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of system software (i.e. Oracle, MES, True View) to look up parts and drawings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs using proper lifting techniques.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Engineering Change orders.
  • Advanced knowledge of single and three-line drawings, including symbols.
  • Ability to identify part discrepancies and properly write HFDs for corrections.
  • Ability to complete complex engineering changes.
  • Self-starter with ability to take on multiple tasks with a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to adapt to new ideas, technology, processes or product changes.
