Path Engineering

As a Manufacturing Equipment Specialist (also known as Equipment Engineer, Mechanical Specialist), you will be responsible for supporting a fleet of automated production equipment. This includes efficient responses to real-time issues, development of long-term solutions, fabrication, modification, assembly of mechanical and electrical components, and collaboration with maintenance and operations staff.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology or similar field is preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a machinist, welder, mechanic, equipment engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with design, assembly, and/or maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient in Manual Machining Skills, Mechanical Assembly Skills, and CAD Software.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, PLC systems, and statistical process control concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, and create and modify mechanical drawings, models, and assemblies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
