Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Machine Maintenance Operator (also known as Equipment Maintenance Technician, Production Maintenance Operator), you'll be responsible for machine maintenance for the shift production team. This includes clearing and resolving jams on lines, restarting lines, performing minor repairs and adjustments, and ensuring operational efficiency throughout the 12-hour shift. You'll also monitor materials to ensure correct amounts are available throughout the shift and minimize scrap produced and machine downtime.

Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical abilities and experience, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and to perform basic mathematical operations.
  • Experience with injection/compression molding would be a plus, as would the ability to troubleshoot machines and maintain them.
