Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, troubleshooting, and repair of all production equipment. This includes injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. You'll also troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as chillers, air compressors, and other water filtration equipment. You'll work directly with machine operators, supervisors, and senior maintenance technicians to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization preferred).
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar maintenance environment, with experience managing people/projects.
  • Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic.
  • Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools.
  • Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of plant or machine center.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries preferred.
