Role

As a Quality Assurance Color Shader (also known as Color Quality Specialist, Color Analyst), you will be tasked with ensuring high accuracy in color shading for automotive paints. Your responsibilities will include data entry into color portals and quality databases, customer communication, preparing pre-ship samples, and using color measurement instruments and software for accurate color shading. You will also shade in-process batches to meet customer specifications and facilitate the batch approval process.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 4+ years of experience with color including understanding color theory, color perception, and color management principles.
  • Proficiency in using color management instruments and software for color analysis and shading.
  • Familiarity with various color shading tools and techniques is required.
