Maintenance Technician

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Mechanic), you'll be responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting and repair. You will work directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, and other Maintenance Technicians to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift. You will also propose solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on production equipment.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma. Associate’s Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar maintenance environment or position, including managing people/projects.
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries.
  • Experience with various technologies such as Variable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motor, rotary equipment, thermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing.
  • Skilled in fabrication capabilities such as cutting and welding (mig, tig or stick), and working with electrical systems including 480VAC & 24VDC power.
