Maintenance Technician II

Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Repair Specialist, Machine Maintenance Technician), you'll perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes observing devices in operation to locate the root cause of problems, dismantling devices to access and remove defective parts, adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments, and repairing or replacing defective parts. You may also be required to operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks. Additionally, you'll comply with 5S and housekeeping standards, participate in continuous improvement activities, and update records and review CMMS history.

Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
