MIG Welder

Role

As a Welder (also known as Fabricator, Metal Joiner), you'll join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate welding techniques. You'll interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process and inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness. You may also prepare materials and set up for a welding device or robot.

Qualifications
  • Ability to operate forklifts and cranes, and use a variety of hand tools.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and setting up welding setups for production.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), and must pass a MIG welder certification. Relevant apprenticeship, experience, or vocational training is preferred.
