CNC Machinist

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), you'll create complex machined parts by working with part drawings, job layouts, and specifications. Your operations will include drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and facing. You'll set up and operate high-tech machines, working from detailed instructions using standard coding, in a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school education.
  • Setup experience with Swiss lathes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of computerized machine controls, weight scales, comparators, microscope, precision measurement instruments, hand tools, and specialized trade tools.
  • Ability to use computers for data entry and document production.
  • Mechanical aptitude and significant mathematical skills.
  • Ability to proofread documents, read blueprints, train others, and complete production paperwork.
