CNC Machinist

Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as Machine Tool Operator, CNC Operator), you'll create complex machined parts, working with part drawings, job layouts, and specifications. Your tasks will include drilling, milling, turning, grinding, and facing. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating high-tech machines, working from detailed instructions using standard coding, in a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school education.
  • Setup experience with Swiss lathes is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of computerized machine controls, weight scales, comparators, microscope, precision measurement instruments, hand tools, and specialized trade tools.
  • Ability to use computers for data entry and document production.
  • Mechanical aptitude and significant mathematical skills.
  • Ability to proofread documents, read blueprints, train others, and complete production paperwork.
