Cost Estimating Engineer

Role

As a Cost Estimating Engineer (also known as Cost Analysis Engineer, Manufacturing Cost Estimator), you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with manufacturing processes and products. You will utilize your expertise in CNC Milling and Lathe operations, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint reading to analyze and determine the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing methods. This role involves collaboration with the product design team and production for successful project hand-offs.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Machining experience in CNC milling & CNC turning - 5-axis a plus.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software - Mastercam/Solidworks a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Experience in process development and product design.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and shop math skills.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
