MACHINIST

Role

As a Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, Manual Machinist), you'll read blueprints, sketches, CAD and CAM files, operate and disassemble manual, automatic, and CNC machine tools, and ensure the quality of completed products. You'll also align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces, build fixtures for machining parts, and monitor the feed and speed of machines.

Qualifications
  • Completion of machinist apprenticeship program with a minimum of 5 years of machinist experience. Journeyman certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Dovetail CNC, Equipment Troubleshooting, G-Code, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, GD&T, and Manual Machining Skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, or CAD and CAM files and display a working knowledge of GD & T.
