Role

As a Machinist (also known as Precision Machinist, Machine Shop Operator), you'll be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. You'll also fabricate and modify parts to repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying your knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years’ experience as a precision machinist with knowledge of conversational programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for effective manufacture of precision components, including experience in tolerance standards management.
  • Measuring skills using calipers, bore micrometers, and pin gauges.
