Diesel Mechanic

Role

As a Diesel Mechanic Technician (also known as Diesel Engine Specialist, Diesel Technician), you'll inspect and test company vehicles, diagnose and troubleshoot engine and emission systems, perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers, and ensure compliance with state and DOT vehicle requirements. You'll also conduct regular preventative maintenance, maintain vehicle records, and manage inventory of supplies.

Qualifications
  • Experience or formal training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tractors.
  • Ability to acquire a CDL with the assistance of our trainer.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays.
  • Ability to lift to 150 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
  • Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, heavy equipment repair, mechanical troubleshooting skills, mechanical assembly skills, refrigeration systems, electrical troubleshooting skills, and hydraulics experience.
  • Experience with diesel engines and refrigeration/cooling systems.
