Path Engineering

As a Quality Control Inspector (also known as QC Inspector, Quality Assurance Inspector), you'll be responsible for reading and understanding customer specifications, performing various types of inspections, conducting re-inspections for nonconforming products, and communicating quality issues to management. You'll also be involved in internal calibrations, raw material and product receiving inspection activities, and suggesting improvements to current quality management system procedures.

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a machine shop environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA requirements, AQL inspection methods, and ability to utilize all inspection tools.
• Experience with 3-dimensional inspection and measurements, and QC experience in medical devices preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawing interpretation with GD&T specified features.
• Strong organizational skills, PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), and excellent record-keeping documentation skills.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, lift 40 pounds and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
