Path Engineering

As a Field Service Technician (also known as Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer), you will utilize your understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. Your duties will include daily travel to customer facilities, installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of CNC equipment. You will also provide operator training, software applications, preventive maintenance, major assembly replacements and alignments, overhauls/refurbishments, upgrades/retrofits, and un-installation services. You will be expected to maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines.

• Minimum of one year of experience with a machine tool builder or distributor, or as a factory maintenance technician.
• Proficient verbal and written communication and customer relation skills.
• Basic digital literacy and understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
• Exposure to manufacturing/machining environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated or manual machinery.
