Role

As a Repair Technician (also known as Instrument Repair Specialist, Onsite Mobile Repair Technician), you'll perform basic to intermediate inspection and repairs on surgical instruments using various tools. Your role will be crucial in ensuring surgical instruments are sharpened and working properly, enabling surgeons to focus on providing the best care for their patients. This position is a field service role, driving a mobile repair truck, with up to 30% overnight travel (all expenses paid).

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience such as hands-on repair, assembly, product testing, use of small hand tools, maintenance, construction, and automotive repair.
  • Must be able to meet flexible schedules with early/late hours and occasional overnight/out of state travel, pass a DOT medical/ physical exam, have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
