Machine Operator Apprentice - 3rd Shift (Coils)

Role

As a Coil Winder Machine Operator Apprentice (also known as Winding Machine Operator, Coil Winding Technician), you'll set-up and operate winding machines to produce coils of various sizes according to specifications. You'll handle different coil conductor configurations, including strip, round, and rectangular wire. Your training will involve classroom technical training, welding and brazing training, use of virtual reality smart glasses, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year manufacturing experience or military technical training is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret prints, quality specifications, and applicable instructions for safety, maintenance, operating, and engineering.
  • Proficiency in Blueprint Reading, Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, Mechanical Assembly Skills, Excellent Communication Skills, and Shop Math Skills.
