Role

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder (also known as a Metal Worker, Welding Technician), you'll be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment. Your duties will include operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal, welding to join sheet metal parts, and inspecting and assembling products. You'll also be expected to read assembly prints and procedures and perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. Trade or Technical School Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and a minimum of four (4) years experience in welding.
  • Good mechanical skills, basic math skills, and the ability to read assembly prints and procedures.
