Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Role

As a Maintenance Planner (also known as Maintenance Scheduler, Maintenance Coordinator), you'll be responsible for weekly planning meetings with production supervisors, developing and validating job tasks, long-range and short-range planning, screening job orders, analyzing job requirements, creating detailed job plans, preparing job work orders, coordinating with maintenance leads, reviewing schedule compliance, arranging external resources, and managing MRO inventory. You'll also play a crucial role in developing maintenance procedures for new equipment and finding long-term solutions to recurring asset problems.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical, food, pharmaceutical).
  • 5-10 years' experience in maintenance planning with large rotating equipment.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical/chemical plant equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and catalogs.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems.
  • CMRP Certification preferred.
